Member of the Kobold Engineering group responsible for the planning, setup and execution of testing Kobold equipment and tools in a shop and field environment. As well as maintaining the R&D shop and supporting the engineering department with additional tasks.

While working in the Calgary, AB shop, under the direction of Kobold’s Engineering Manager/ designate Engineer:
Become familiar and work safely with the test and sales frame and testing cell.
Set up, execution to plan and tear down of test equipment ensuring objectives were met, and test
data is accurate captured.Assist in the preparation of written plans to test completion tools.
Assist with post test data analysis for summary reports.
Take and provide detailed test notes.
Support with test reports when requested.
Conduct shop work with safety being top priority.
Create Job Hazard Analysis when necessary.
Work in co-operation and assist other groups if needed.
Responsible for Test Bay organization and cleanliness
Setup and conduct shop cleans every six-weeks and ensure all users participate good housekeeping
habits including returning the shop to an acceptable state after each test is performed.Ensure equipment, tools and fittings are working and on hand this includes purchasing spare and
repairs.Assist in shop tours for sales department.
While working in the field, under the general direction of the on-site Kobold operational supervisor:
Assist in the assembly, tear down and inspection of prototype tools.
